Kiyosu, Japan, September 16, 2026: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. is gait analysis technology using its original healthcare
\nAI insole working to commercialize preventive medicine services that will lead to early detection and improvement
\nof physical disorders with this is done through collaboration with local governments, companies, and medical
\ninstitutions. One part of this is participation in an effort for the realization of the \u201cSmart Health City\u201d being
\npromoted by Osaka Prefecture in Japan.<\/p>\n

Today, Japan and other developed countries have shrinking populations with fewer children, which means that
\nhealth promotion and preventive medicine are increasingly important. Specifically related to this is ongoing
\ninternational research on the connection between walking function and health status. Toyoda Gosei is researching
\nand developing gait analysis AI that combines original thin rubber pressure sensors and skeletal detection
\ntechnology with photographic images.<\/p>\n

Osaka Prefecture is working to socially implement its \u201cWEB31 PHR2 Integration Platform,\u201d and as one of its
\ntechnical partners, Toyoda Gosei will provide its gait analysis technology (Gait Digital Biomarker Analysis AI) using
\ninsoles and cameras to commercial facilities, office buildings, and other locations in the prefecture. Through this
\nOsaka Prefecture and Toyoda Gosei aims to contribute to the extension of healthy life expectancy and optimization
\nof social welfare spending.<\/p>\n
